Jet Blue frequent flyer miles

If you are booking a JetBlue flight for your family, how do you do it if you have enough True Blue points (frequent flyer miles) for some members of your family but not all of them? Do you book once for the people for whom you are paying with points, and then start over and book for the people for whom you are paying with a credit card? Trying to figure out the best way to do this.

I just went through this same situation. At first, I was going to call JetBlue, but realized they charge $20 per person to book over the phone. Instead, I just did 2 deprecate bookings, 1 for my wife and 2 kids that I used a credit card for and a separate booking for me and 3rd kid with true blue points. I was able to select seats all near each other.
