Jesus Crackers!

Okay, my four year old is frustrated with a puzzle and I keep hearing "Jesus Crackers!" coming from the other room. So I go in and say...

me:honey, what did you just say?
Matalyn: oh mom, I'm so frustrated by this puzzle, it's a hard one!
me: yes, I know it is. But can you tell me what it was you were just saying?
Matalyn: oh something I learned on cartoons.
me: Which cartoon?

me: So what is it?
Matalyn: Jesus Crackers. It's what Flick says when he is frustrated.
me: falling on floor laughing so hard...
You mean CHEESE AND Crackers???
Matalyn: I guess so.
Me: okay, because Jesus is a name and is not appropriate for when you are frustrated.
Matalyn: oh. I guess Cheese and Crackers will do as long as you don't make me eat any. I only like peanut butter on crackers.
Me: okay, so next time you're frustrated what will you say?
Matalyn: CHEESE AND Crackers!
Me. Thanks

I leave the room and hear Cheese and Crackers! a few times more.


Gotta love the 4 year old ears, they hear things the rest of us don't!

Oh no, First we're marketing the Monkey crackers THEN the Jesus crackers. the monkey crackers will be full of nuts and the Jesus crackers will be enLIGHTened.
