Jersey Week?

I am planning a trip Nov 4-14, and I just read somewhere a comment about Jersey week. What is it, and when is it this coming November? Does anyone know anything regarding how it affects crowd conditions during that time? I'm anxious to hear anyone's experience. My vacation is set, and I am taking extended family for their first trip to Disney. This is really making me anxious.

This comment you read must refer to the fact that in New Jersey, the New Jersey teacher's union traditionally uses that time for their convention. The public schools, therefore, are closed for two days. Some districts use the time and connect to Veteran's Day and create a nice vacation by closing for the week. Other districts simply have the two days off. Either way, many families from NJ visit WDW at this time. I have been there many times during this week and found it to still be a reasonably slow season. It is nothing to be anxious about.
