Jersey week/nov crowds

Hi all, haven’t been to universal since 2004, so I feel like a newbie again!

I have heard that at wdw, “jersey week” only bumps crowds up slightly, but last year was cray-cray sea of humanity crazy crowded.

What is it like that week at UO?

I was at Disney and UO in Nov 2015. The crowds were crazy at Disney mid week (wed-fri), but I thought the crowds weren't bad at all in UO (Sat-sun). We stayed at RPR, thuough, so we had EPs.

What is jersey week

For the second week in Nov every year, Nj schools are closed for 2-3 days for a teachers convention, and many families vacation that week. In Orlando crowd terminology, it’s referred to as “jersey week”

2 years ago last visit that time period. Beginning of week (sat/sun/mon)we went to U, onsite FOTL. Busier than expected but very enjoyable.

Transferred over to WDW Mon eve. There were crowds, but nothing like even normal summer ones or what I've seen on even minor holidays (MLK, Pres Day).
