Jersey Week hotel availability

I'm looking to go to Disney 11/6-11/12. I went to book on the website and saw there's limited hotel availability. To compare I looked at hotel availability for next week (Easter week) and there's much more to choose from. I know the week I want to go is Jersey Week and will be busy but it can't be busier than next week can it? Is it going to be wall to wall people? I've been to Disney many times but never Jersey Week. Thank you for any insight you may have.

I agree, seems like Easter week would be busier than Jersey week. Is there historical data you could look at somewhere? Maybe try the Swan or Dolphin?

Wine and Dine Race weekend is 11/3-11/6. Might be cutting into some availability at least for the beginning for Jersey week.

Availability is pretty good starting 11/7 and 11/8. Some resorts are still sold out but all of the values and mods are open. There’s even a good amount of DVC villas available but some deluxes are sold out. I think it’s due to race weekend too.

DH and I are going 11/5-11/10 to meet my niece and her family (she is a NJ teacher). I couldn't find a single onsite room for our dates at any resort level. We are booked at the Dolphin. The race weekend makes sense - I couldn't' figure out why there was no availability onsite.

Wow. Wonder if it was a glitch. I just checked. There’s lots of availability.

Make sure it didn’t default to the discount search. The website does that a lot. And since there is no discount for those dates, it would show no availability anywhere. Just search any hotel & when the rates open, make sure it’s on the room or package tab. You can then change the search to all hotels from there.

I saw a lot sold out that week too. I wanted to book 11/5 - 11/11. Covers my baby’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. I could only get something 11/5-11/10 so I’m going to have to keep checking to see if someone drops a room. I figured it would be busier, but annoying every hotel I wanted was sold out

Edit - that worked! There is a fair amount of availability using an incognito browser. That makes me feel better about the number of people who will be there that week

I’ve only been Pre-Covid that time of year but imho it will be busy. Not Christmas busy but I see no reason it won’t be Easter level busy.

Also not only is it Jersey Week, it’s Veterans Day. As for the beginning- F&W Marathon 11/3-6.

We’ve also been that week precovid and it was busy but it wasn’t unmanageable. We are going again this year. 11/3-11/12.

I stay far away from Epcot on the weekends. The trip I went on had Veterans Day and the last weekend of F&W run together. It made Epcot an absolute nightmare by 1 pm and we left. Epcot will also be crowded race weekend. We are doing Epcot on weekdays this trip.

We were there Jersey Week in 2021 (we are from NJ lol so we were right at home) and it was fine. However, my other two trips as an adult were spring break, so I found it way less crowded comparatively to that.
