Jersey week isn't that bad. I did it in 2013, '14, and '15. The weather was pretty great each time.

I think it's less the New Jersey, and more the end of food and wine/beginning of Christmas party that's the problem.

Yeah, and there's also runDisney races the weekend of November 3-5 so a lot going on. We are going during that time and staying at Yacht Club. Wanted to get a water view room but there are none available during the time we'll be there.

Also, Election Day is Tuesday of that week and Veteran's Day is celebrated on Friday.

That's a lot going on within one 7-day period, but we really wanted to be there for Food & Wine and the Xmas Party, so our dates were limited.

So now we're going in expecting heavier than usual crowds, but hoping for the best. As long as the weather is decent, all will be well. Beats the heck out of going to work!

Same here. We registered for our first runDisney events the weekend of November 3 so didn't have much flexibility. We'll be there from Nov. 1-10 so to some extent will miss the Veteran's Day weekend crowd. Thought about staying through Nov. 12 but frankly glad we didn't because that is a holiday weekend. We wanted to do the races, our first Christmas party and food & wine. We'll spend mornings/evenings at the park and midday at the pool or food & wine booths so hopefully that will make the crowds more tolerable.
