Is Jellyrolls open? We’re planning a trip over Labor Day weekend and would like to visit it.

Also, where is the best nearby place to eat that wouldn’t need a reservation?

Yes it’s open.

You could dine anywhere on the Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach or Swan/Dolphin. Places like Ale & Compass, Il Mulino, Shulas’s usually have availability.
