Just over a week until our next trip, and we hope to fit in a couple of nights at Jellyrolls. Been a few times 2, 3 and 4 years ago, and found that the crowd levels varied by the night of the week. Can anyone with recent experience suggest what time we may need to be entering to ensure we get a table on the floor in front of the stage on a Friday night?

Mike

I know that the doors open at 7, and the music starts at 8. And I just might be there Friday night, and Thursday night, and maybe even Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights too! LOL I love that place!!!

We'll be there too (17th-29th)!
Table on the floor on a Friday night front row...
It varies, but I'd get there by 8.
If you're talking about the 22nd
it's Michael, Mike, Ray and Scotty playing :thumbsup2.

Not to hijack but does this mean I might have company? I wanted to go on 17th but didn't want to go alone!

Ohhhh.. we have EMH at MK on the 17th that we are planning on going to. I am planning on being at Jellyrolls on the 14th for sure, and then again possibly on the 15th, 18th, 19th, and/or 20th. I am playing it by ear.

Thanks guys. We'll be there a couple of times, probably Friday 22nd for the first... either myself and Amanda (look for the tall guy with tattooed arms and the petite lady) or could be there with two more female friends .. come over and say hello!

Sigh. I wish my guy could refer to me as the "petite lady"... :rotfl:

To stay on topic, I'd get there at 8 no matter the night for a stage table. Besides, 8 is fun 'cause the place is usually just warming up and you can have a lot of interaction with the pianomen :thumbsup2

I'm going on the 17th alone too!
I'll be there a little before 8 if you want to meet up!

I'll be there most nights between the 17th - 28th
leaving on the 29th :(
If anybody wants to meet up, pm me or just keep
an eye out for me and say hi :)
(pic in signature and I always have a Smirnoff Ice/Mikes in hand lol!)

I'll keep an eye out for you Mike and Amanda!

I was really bummed that PI clubs would be closed when my group goes to WDW in early December, but I figured we had some options at the Boardwalk for evening entertainment.

After reading through this thread, I think Jellyrolls sounds like a great option! If we were to arrive after Fantasmic one night (9pm maybe?) would we still be able to enjoy the piano and drinks or will the crowd probably be nuts? Also, is there a cover charge?

Thanks!

Cover charge is $10. 9 is still pretty early so you should be fine. A lot of people go even earlier to get table seats near the stage, but it is pretty big inside and tends to get busier as the night goes on and then slows down near close.

We were there at 8pm, and had our pick of floor tables, so we sat right up to the stage. It was fabulous! Back home now.....Sigh......

*SIGH* I love that place, but it's become soo smokey I just can't handle it anymore:sad1:

... it wasn't that bad, even though we've both stopped smoking ourselves since our last vist 2 years ago, and the whole of the UK bars, pubs etc have been smoke free for a year, making us more sensitive to it. We were right in front of the stage, and you could feel the fans above us changing the air.

But you're right - it's about time all enclosed, public places were made smoke free in Florida (everywhere else for that matter)... I reckon Jellyrolls would be even busier.
