Jellyrolls question????

Hopefully I am posting this in the right forum??

OK, we are going to be in Disney the first week of February, we are very, very excited that good friends of ours are also going to be there the same week. The best part is we both have a grandparent there to babysit their own grandkids on the same night!!! Whoo Hooo! I rare night out for us!

Here is where I am worried, I have heard lots of good things about Jellyrolls on these boards, and this may be my only chance to go out without kids.... but I don't want to waste any park hours...

What time do you think we should get there in order to enjoy the evening? The web page says to get there early, but how early? We are going on a Monday night in February so I am hoping that makes a difference with the crowds. Do they serve some food or is it just a bar? I did a search on the boards for old posts but didn't find anything.

OMG, I night out at Disney with other adult friends! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

We were just there on a Thursday night after 9 and it was full. There was still some room. I wouldn't worry about getting there before 9.

I'm not sure about food -- all we had was popcorn. Have fun!

I don't think they serve food. Like the PP, we just were offered drinks and popcorn. We've been there a couple of times and it seems to fill up after Illuminations finishes. I don't like to stand so I would recommend getting there NLT 9/9:30ish.

If you want a table up front,
then I'd get there by 8pm.

Most of the time, you can still find a table if you
go right after Illuminations.

They just serve free popcorn! mmmmm.....

Now that it's non-smoking it is definitely busier,
but I haven't seen a wait line to get in before 11pm.

your are gonna have a great time, that is I think the best place for a night out in the whole kingdom, It is a great time, I make it a point to go everytime I go.. eat first, because they only serve popcorn but they keep refilling, it gets real busy around 10 or and is pretty dead at opening, but fills up very quickly, I think though some of the best times is when it just opens and their is only about 5 tables filled because the banter is great, and once your in their it feels like your a big family, you'll love it..

It does go from completely dead to standing room only in about 20 minutes. I would get there between 8:30-9:00 if you want a table up front, no later than 9:30-10:00 for any kind of table. No food, just popcorn. We love it: have fun!
