Jellyrolls Meet- Oct 7

Hi all.
I know there are LOTS of DISers headed to WDW in early October for Food & Wine, the half marathon and the Swan/Dolphin Food & Wine Classic and FUN.

And I know there are lots of us staying at the Swan/Dolphin on 10/7.

So, how about a meet at Jellyrolls to cap off the night?
The F&W Classic ends at 9pm. Let's meet at 9:30 at Jellyrolls on Friday, 10/7. There is a $10 (cash) cover charge per person. You must be 21+ to enter.

Now, I have tried to think of a way to make this a GKTW Fundraiser too, but have come up short. I spoke with their manager/party planner to see if there was some way they could work with us. Sadly, no.
If anyone else has suggestions- let's hear them!

Also- I have never been to Jellyrolls, but have always wanted to go. I am hoping waiting until 9:30 won't be a problem. If you're a veteran- let us know.

In any event, please reply to this thread if you will join us. Please post who will be coming in your group. I'll keep the list here in Post #1.

What a great idea! Change of plans for our honeymoon, we were planning on getting to Disney on the 8th, but now it looks like we'll be there on the 7th!

We were also planning on staying at the Swan, but were not scheduled to check in until the 8th (we're going to POR from the 7th-10th). So who else is going to be staying at the S/D? Maybe we should just check in at the Swan for the whole time!

I'm going to the Food & Wine Classic that night, but since Jellyrolls is so close I may stop by. I'm leaving the next morning, but I'm sure popping in to say hi would be a good idea.

Count me in as well!! I've been to Jellyrolls a couple of times (solo) and always have a blast.
One thing is that it is ALWAYS Crowded and this will be a Friday night. AFAIK they don't reserve seating, but maybe that is something we could arrange since we'll be a group?
We may want to think about arriving earlier than 930 pm?

I understand about arriving as late as this- but since some of us are doing the Swan/Dolphin event, I think this may be as early as I can guarantee.
Anyone who can should arrive as early as possible. Maybe you early birds can try to save some seats for the late comers? (not sure if that's allowed?)

Come whenever you can! Not sure how late people will stay, but a number of us aren't arriving until 9:30, so I'm sure someone will still be there.

I hope you can stay for a while anyway. It sounds like some people will arrive earlier than 9:30- so you can be among the first round of DISers!

I'm sooo psyched! I was just able to switch our reservations last night. Instead of staying at POR from the 7th-10th, I was able to snag a great AP rate at the Beach Club! Now I can hit the Swolphin F&W Festival and stumble out of Jellyrolls without having to drive!

I'm getting so excited!! MNSSHP (twice), Jellyrolls meet, GKTW event at AKV, and F&W (my first), plus I am staying at AKV (first time) for five nights out of seven.

The only way this could get any better is if my waitlist comes through and I don't have to do the first two nights at SSR.

Oh, and Johnny Depp would magically appear in my room every night
