Jellyrolls and bus?

Because everyone has raved about Jellyrolls, I plan on visiting next time I'm down at WDW. My question is: how do I get home? I'm not staying at a Boardwalk resort. Do I need to go to the front of one, catch a bus to Downtown Disney, and then transfer?

Yes, you can go to the entrance of the Boardwalk Inn (or any of the others for that matter) and catch a bus to DTD, then transfer to your resort bus.

Or, you can take a taxi to your resort. They are usually hanging out near the entrance, or the valet stand can call you one. It's not very expensive and MUCH quicker than the 2 bus method.

I would agree with Eljay...we have gotten a bit stranded at Boardwalk before and having to go to DTD and then to your resort can be a very long and 'painful' ride when you just want to go back to your resort and go to bed!

Even when we go to DTD from our resort and back we take the car (if we aren't planning to have drinks of course!) as there is something really long and drawn out about those bus trips to DTD!

There is extra parking at the Boardwalk to allow for this (although it isn't an especially short walk...) Otherwise, I'd agree that a taxi is probably your best bet, unless you will be leaving early enough to catch the boat to MGM. From the Boardwalk you could take the boat to MGM, and then catch a bus from MGM. Remember, buses continue to run for an hour after that park closes.

Walk to the BW hotel or the Swan/Dolphin & catch a cab.

You'll spend a little $$...usually not too bad...$10 or less around WDW...but it's quicker, easier, & probably safer if it's late.

Jellyrolls is a dueling piano bar (21 and over) located on the Boardwalk near the Atlantic Dance Hall.
