Hi Everyone,

We are bringing my 36 yr old single brother to the BWV this year (he is only staying the week) but was playing with the idea of going to JellyRolls with him. DH & I have never been. I know he will love ESPN......

But my DAD & his DW will be with us as well. Although my Dad has a great sense of humor I really don't think he (& my DH for that matter) will enjoy having to get up to sing....

So I guess my question is just what do they mean by interactive with the audience. Can you give me your thoughts on it? I know the expert is here somewhere, but will take anyones thoughts on it.

Thanks,

I have been several times. The only interaction i can think of is the writing on napkins your requests and giving it to the players. At times the audience may clap or occasionally sing along with a song, but by no means do you feel like you have to participate.

It is great entertainment for a group. Very lively, but yet you are able to converse with your party at the same time.

you do not have to get up and sing at JELLYROLLS. iT IS A SING ALONG ATMOSPHERE but no need to sing. Just enjoy the fun and drink

Hi Everyone,

It's a LOT of fun!!! If you want to hear a song then you write
it down on a napkin with a couple of bucks and put it on a
piano. If you don't want to sing-a-long or you just want to
people watch, then try to sit on the outer rim on the main floor
or around around the rails. The people up close to the stage will be
encouraged to sing sometimes dance a long, so just sit a few
tables away from the front and you'll have a great view of
everything and not feel like you have to participate.
With that said.....
You may be surprised on how much fun you have and want
to sing/dance along. There's only probably 2-3 sing/dances
the whole night so no worries:thumbsup2

The place is our favorite night spot on Disney property and
we usually make 1-2 grown-up trips to Florida
just to visit Jellyrolls alone. No parks, just Jellyrolls :woohoo:
Even on a Disney "parks" trip we end up going several nights!
Have fun!
