Jello through TSA checkpoint

So, my 11 year old and I were having a discussion about our upcoming flights to MCO this Thursday. I was telling her about the liquid/gel rule and told her basically that something isn't considered a liquid/gel if it can hold its shape....

She said, "what about Jello?". I wasn't sure about the answer so she said, "post it on the DIS, they'll know!"

So, satisfy DD11's curiousity...... could she take Jello through security? She doesn't plan on doing it, but is curious about that answer....

The answer is No. When I taught science it was a colloid.
Gelatin is made of ground up animal bones
