Jeep rental in Cozumel ?????

Did anyone rent a jeep on their own in Cozumel??? If so how much can I expect to pay. Also does anyone know if 5 people can fit in a jeep.

We wanted to rent a jeep also and figured we could do it cheaper on our own at Cozumel.

PolyGirl... Expect rental of a genuine Jeep to be about 60-70 bux... we went with a smaller version... something like a Suzuki Samurai and it ran us 50... it's well worth it though... If you do decide on renting yourself instead of doing the tour route, make your way to Playa Sol... It's about 15 minute drive from port... 25 bux for the adults gets you open bar, beach and pool priveleges and a pretty neat zoo for the kids... very clean... kids cost 6 dollars... Have fun

I've reserved a Jeep Wrangler from Avis for $49 in Cozumel next week. Seemed like a good price to me.

Great deal, IrishCowboy... Polygirl... I own a Jeep... it really depends how big those 5 people are... seat belts only accomodate 4 people
