I wonder about studio 365 & jedi training... does anyone have any experience with it? would you recommend it?

i have 2 girls, 7 & 10 and 3 boys (8, 4 & 20 months - I don't expect the 20 mos old to participate)

Jedi training can be a lot of fun. My 7 and 5 year old boys loved it. Make sure your kids wear something that makes it easy for the Jedi Master to pick your children. For example my boys wore red Mickey Santa Hoodies bought the year before. My husband also held one on his shoulders.

We did studio disney 365 in December. My daughters are 7 and 9. The youngest one loved it, but the older one only kept her hair in for the one day. It cost about 85 for both of them and that included hair pieces. The girls working there are super nice, but they may be the slowest hair braiders in history. I would let the girls do it again I thought it was fun for them.

Jedi Training Academy was a highlight for my 9 yo. I followed a tip here on the Dis and had him hold up a sign that he made. Actually it was 2 pieces of copy paper. One said, "Jedi Rule" and the other said "Sith Drool." DS9 was supposed to hold the first one, and DS6 was supposed to hold the second one --to try to increase the chance of them both being chosen to participate. At the last minute DS6 decided he was a little too nervous to participate, so it was just DS9 holding them. He was also wearing a Star Wars shirt. He was the second child chosen. It really is a cool show. We watched a bunch of JTA videos on YouTube to help them know what to expect.

My DS6 has done this twice now, once at age 5 and once at age 6...it was a hit with him! Both times we have had a sign for him to hold up, and he was chosen each time. It's a fun show to watch as well. Don't let the security people see your sign though, I guess they will get confiscated! I think the Jedi Training was DS's most memorable thing for him of both trips we've taken!
