My son quite enjoyed the Jedi Training at WDW. Is it the same at Disneyland in that you need to arrive before rope drop and run to sign up? Or does it not fill up as quick? Should we try it on a day that DCA has early entry (i.e. so we are not at the disadvantage)? I thought I read that there will be some other Marvel type training (or maybe I dreamed it?). We're coming last week in August if that makes a difference.

Yes sign-ups. If you have MM you can waste, I mean use, your MM signing up. Otherwise sign-up on a day that Disneyland doesn't have MM. And the Marvel show will have sign-ups also. Reports are they soft opened the Marvel Training yesterday.

So basically...it sounds like yes...also need to sign up first thing.
Is Marvel the same idea or a show you sit and watch? Either way, I'm sure my son and DH will want to go to that. Not even sure he'll want to do Jedi Training again (although he loved it at WDW).

The Marvel show hasn't opened yet, so we don't know. It soft opened yesterday, but won't have any idea if the schedule until it opens. I'd also expect that the procedure may change between now and August.

The Avengers Training Initiative has a schedule available for upcoming shows starting this weekend
  • 1:05 PM
  • 2:15 PM
  • 3:25 PM
  • 4:45 PM
  • 5:55 PM
  • 7:05 PM

It is new and marketed as limited time for the Summer of Heroes, so if a kid wants to participate you will need to sign-up at opening.

Perfect thanks. I'll take note then to do sign up first. Looks like Avengers is DCA and Jedi is DL.
