We are going to DHS on August 31st. The crowd predictions recently increased to a level 5 due to the Frozen activities (which we wont be doing) Our MUST do is Jedi Training Academy for my 7yo DS. I am planning on being at the park for opening (9am) but not likely to be lined up out front by 8 :rotfl2: with 3 kids and hubby to get moving!!-- Will we have a hard time getting a "slot" if we arent first in the park? With our FP+ I actually prefer an evening time --after 630 if possible--- How late do the sessions run until and can you choose your desired time? We have our 3 FP+ scheduled plus lunch at Sci Fi and Dinner at Mama Melrose. Plus there are only 2 LMA stunt shows that day and limited Indiana Jones many of which coincide with our lunch ressie or overlap with LMA. All of these things are important and I am having a hard time fitting it all in--especially not knowing when to expect JTA?? any recent experience or advice is appreciated. Also, I have no interest in scheduling an early H&V breakfast--first because I cant imagine we would be up and there early enough, 2 because we don't have any desire to see the Disney Jr characters and 3 because we already have 2 sit downs scheduled. I have never been a full "touring plan" person--just picked the parks and ADRs and went with the flow--now with the scheduled FP+ I have found myself (crazily) revising minute by minute park plans... UGH:confused3

If you go there when the park opens (and on a non-EMH morning), you should be fine.

The CMs at sign-up will allow you to choose which session fits your schedule:

20-minute shows
9:20, 10:10 & 11:50am, 12:40, 1:20, 1:50, 2:20, 3:40, 4:10, 4:40, 5:30, 6:20, 7:10 & 8:00pm

is there not a 10.:40, 11:10 show?

In the mornings, the shows are 50 minutes apart due to only one cast. After the second cast arrives, the shows are scheduled more closely.

***No 11:00 show because the Frozen Processional ends next to the JTA Stage.

You don't have to get there at 8. But, if you drive into the parking lot right at 9, it's going to take you 15-30 minutes to get through the front entrance, and by that time the slots may be gone (depending on how crowded that day is). I would plan on arriving at 8:30 to be sure.
