My daughter was a padawan in April 2008. But, to everyone's astonishment, DARTH VADER showed up! :scared1: He asked if any would join him on the dark side, but none would.

Has anyone witnessed someone selling out?

I tease my daughter that she should've, I could've been set for life... :woohoo: however long that would be. I mean, come on, its not ruling the city or the planet, but the galaxy! :thumbsup2 That's a pretty good job.

We were there last December for our first trip and my DS (11) was chosen for this as well. It's no secret to our family that he always chooses the villains over the good guys but it wouldn't be apparent to anyone else. When they asked if anyone wanted to join the dark side, I could actually see the internal war going on inside of him as I'm sure he wanted to say yes but didn't dare! It was the funniest thing as I could totally read his mind! :rotfl:

My 3 kids did the jedi training last week and I kept expecting my DS9 to say he wanted to join the darkside, but he didn`t. He almost knocked Darth Vadar off the stage while battling him.

As I sit here reading this thread, all I can think is I'd just to the dark side in a heartbeat. Is that bad?? :rotfl2:

The way I see this show, it's really for the vicarious thrill of the parents (fathers). I'm too old to go, so I send my son or daughter. They have little idea who "dark vader" is (I still can't correct them), other than "the bad guy in star wars".

This show is the companion to the princess show in Disneyland, where the little girls dress up and learn how to properly address and greet royalty. Then, REAL princesses show up and they get a 1-on-1. I don't think there's one like it in WDW. Again, who's more thrilled, the daughter or the mother?

I'm hoping they adopt this over in the wizarding world of harry potter; its a natural (wizard lessons, death eater shows up).

I can pretty much guarentee my son will go with Darth Vader! He wants to be a storm trooper for halloween!
