Saturday, Oct 2, Day 8
We slept in today! Got up around *;30, no real plans for the day for a change. Decided to go back to MGM, DH wanted to look for his hat again, and do a few things we missed. Got there around 10, and went to wait for Jojo and Goliath. They were cute, the music playing was fun, Trevor got her autograph and a picture, then we went to meet Sorcerer Mickey and get a family picture. A CM took one with our camera, didn't even wait until we were looking, but it was cute; didn't look at the one the Disney photographer took because we forgot, but oh well. After that, we did One Man's Dream. We liked it, watched the movie, and then it was on to the Great Movie Ride. Tanya was our guide, we had the gangster scene. Trevor was scared through the first part, Isaac screamed all the way through. I know the people in our vehicle wished we weren't riding, but I couldn't help it by then. The alien didn't slime us this time, which I was glad, because I hated it on our last trip. When we came out, there were characters in front of the hat. Trev and I got in line for Pinicchio, and Chris and Isaac went to get us a snack. We went to get in line for Lilo and Stitch, but the handler said they were leaving in 5 minutes, adn the line was longer than that. We met up with Chris and Isaac, went to a partially shaded bench, and had a snack--a chocolate shake, a frozen lemonade and a stuffed pretzel. As we were finishing up, the Green Army Men came marching through with the van behind them. We went over to the hat, where the "Sargent" was instructing them and then the crowd on how to do the meet and greet; it was really funny! Trev didn't want to meet them, so I took pics of them lined up, and we went to change Isaac's diaper. Then we decided we would go meet them, so he and I walked over and got a picture that some nice lady took for us; Trevor wouldn't get a pic with him by himself, for some reason. When Chris came out of the baby center, he handed me the autograph book, so we found another army man and got an autograph. Shortly after that, they marched away. The whole thing was fun! We went over to the Indiana Jones shop so we could by Chris' hat he'd been wanting all week, and we made our way out of the park and a bus was waiting.
Got back to Movies and went swimming. The boys had a ball! Trev was sill a little hesitant, but Isaac had no fear and was jumping in all over the place. He'd go under and come up laughing and he learned to climb out of the pool by himself to jump in again. Afer awhile, we went in for a nap.
After our nap, we got ready and went to Winter Summerland for mini golf. It was a really cute course, we played on the winter side. There was Christmas music playing, but it was so hot, it was just strange to us. Chris, Trev, and I each got a couple hole in one's, but Trev had the most. We took some cute pics, then got on the last bus out of Blizzard Beach. It dropped us off at Pop Century, and we got a bus for Downtown Disney. We wanted to do the westside shops, so we went that way. We went in the few we had wanted to go in, but they weren't what we expected,so we walked back over to the Marketplace. Played in the fountain for awhile, and back to the resort. Ate a late dinner in the food court and went to bed.
Tomorrow: Chef Mickey's and MNSSHP
