Jealousy

Hey guys. So me and my BFF Kayla have been single for so long and we both like guys. And the guy I asked to date said no, but I'm not giving up. The guy Kayla likes she actually just met on FB and started hanging out last night. Kayla had her first kiss and all and I am extremely happy for her but I'm sad...aka jealous. Has anyone else been in this situation?

Don't worry. Like all of my friends have had bfs, (normally ones that I liked before them...) and it's really annoying. But there is someone out there for everyone, I finally got a boyfriend last month and I luv him. Even if that guy doesn't like you it doesn't mean no one else does. It may take a while to find someone, but it will happen.

I have been in that situation, except for the part where I asked a guy. My BFF ALWAYS has had a boyfriend. I don't really care for a boyfriend because eventually you will break up and be in tears. It's just extra pain, if he breaks up with you. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. You will find the right guy eventually, maybe just not yet.

Are you in high school? Just wondering.

My best friend and I have always been the same when it comes to relationships and boys. Until this year, senior year, when she started dating her boyfriend and now they're in love and always together. I guess you and I are in similar situations, I'm beyond happy for my best friend, but I wish I had what she has. I've been talking (more than friends... but not boyfriend girlfriend...) to this boy for a looooooooooong while now and of course I like him and he likes me but I won't get into that.

I'm an easily jealous person. It's okay to feel jealous, just know that someday things will work out for you too.

I'm a sophomore in college and yes, jealousy has definitely occurred. It becomes extremely hard when your friends always talk about their boyfriends, and how much they love them, and one of them is even getting married and planning a wedding. It sometimes takes everything in me to remember that the guy for me is out there, and that there isn't something wrong with me, as I am single. I do think that some jealousy is perfectly normal.
