Day 2:
We wake up to Mickeys wake up call. The kids decide (yeah right) that they will amicably take turns answering the phone for the rest of our trip.
We were told by my sister, because there are no more EE days, that the characters would be parading around to the resorts. We called the front desk and asked about this and the woman at the front desk asked if we were talking about the character breakfast. She said she had no information regarding other characters at the Poly. After hanging up we received a phone call from the front desk saying that some characters were in the main house and would be there for another half hour. We headed to the main house and got autographs from King Louie, Rafiki and Timon.
We arrive at Epcot at 9:30 and meet my sister at the security check-in. She has already been there for 2 days and starts telling us that we were nuts to wait 40 minutes in line for Dumbo. Boy, was she right. We get into Epcot and find test track closed, so we head into Innoventions and try out some stuff and dmail the grandparents. We go on Body Wars and Space Ship Earth. No wait at all they are both walk-ons. We goof off at the fountains and Innoventions for a while then head out for the Hoop-De-Doo Revue.
We stopped in on the Wilderness Lodge and took a look around. This is truly a magnificent building. We decided that we would have to try it out on another visit.
We meet some good friends of ours at the HDDR and look forward to an entertaining show. Before we are seated, my DS, Drew, cuts himself with a knife .he was trying to cut his own bread. You should have seen the staff. You would have thought that he cut off his finger. They seemed to almost panic over not having a bandage immediately available. Drew looked around like nothing had happened and by the time the show began it was forgotten. What a great show!! The food is very good to excellent and abundant. You wont leave this venue hungry for food or entertainment! The fried chicken was excellent and the ribs were very good. Dessert was also very good and plentiful. The beer was cold ..which happens to be my favorite brand.
After the show we decided to head over to Epcot to catch Tapestry and Illuminations again. Another wonderful day at WDW.
Next: Animal Kingdom and Breakfastasourus
