me loving husband, planner and maybe somewhat over planner
.the one, when we get WDW, is most likely to say: what do you want to do instead of following the itinerary
DWofjdads2 my lovely and patient wife.
Day 5: Final day.
What a great start to the day after being at PI until around 1:30 and getting in around 2:30. It was a joy to be awakened by millions of voices counting to 8 over and over and over and over again. Did I mention that there were cheerleaders at our resort. Actually, they werent bad at all. I was expecting much louder young ladies.
Well we crawl out of bed and get ready for our last day. We decide to head to Epcot.
We do a little pin trading and I pick up a sixth pin from the set of seven that I need. That is really cool and now I am starting to really search for that last pin. It happens to be the Mickey on the film with the years 1999 and 2000 on it that revolve.
We finally get a chance to see the living statues, well, statue and it was really neat. Next on the venue was the British invasion, they were very good. We decide to head to Morocco for pastries and France for crepes .yummy. We had a great time just strolling and relaxing.
We leave Epcot and head to MK in order to see Spectromagic since it was the only time showing while we were at WDW. Should be an easy trip Mono to TTC transfer to MK mono .the entire mono was down!! All of it! So now we head for the bus. Just as we are about to get on the bus we are told that the mono was back on line. We decide to take the bus to the TTC. As it turns out it wasnt a bad trip. It certainly was easy to get the mono and take it to MK. Once we get to MK we decide to just get inside the gate and watch the parade from the curb near the train station.
What a great parade. Brings back memories of our DL vacation back in 1977, The Electric Light parade. I remember that only being a parade with white lights. Do I have that right?
We get out of MK in less than 10 minutes after the parade. We head over to the Poly and have dessert at the Kona Café. Kokoa Puffs for me and that really wicked brownie/pecan concoction for Jackie. We love this place. After some coffee we head to the GF. On the way over to the GF we start talking to a couple from Hamilton Ontario. They happen to be pin traders and we start talkinh about pins and the one that I need. It turns out that they have it and are willing to trade for it. I trade a Mickey pin that i got from a CM and complete the set that I started on Monday. It was great to complete the set but a little disappointing too. Now I have to start another collection.
We have never been to the GF before and were we impressed. We dont want to stay here next trip though. We want to save it for our trip during the Christmas season in 2004. What a great resort...this is the life.
Back to All Star Music to pack. We have to get up at 6:00 to catch the Mears transport at 7:00.
