JC - can I take the color from the table and actually reference that in the embed statement? I know I can do something like that in a script statement, but does HTML allow references like:

[EMBED...... bgcolor=table.bgcolor ....] ????

Then I could reference the color that was chosen for the display on my post, and it would match every time. THis is more HTML, but I do not know enough about it to know if you can reference other objects in this manner.

No, I didn't forget, I'm still checking.

I don't think that you can refer to a table attribute like that without giving it an ID. There is nothing I can think of with straight HTML that will do it. I know you can do it in PERL for sure but I'm still looking.

There is something about the object param-"wmode" that might work.

IE only as far as I know. It's ActiveX.

Yup! White background in Netscape.

Oh yeah, I know - it even mentions in the docs I read it was for IE only (cause of the ActiveX). Well, since it's really me I want it to look good for (hehehehe), it's ok for now.

I'm assuming the Netscape browsers ignore the command, cause when I was making mistakes with it, IE was ignoring it too....

Besides, doesn't everyone use IE? ;)

Now look at what you made me do!

I actually had to open up IE to see what all the fuss was about....

Pretty cool jfulcer!:D
