If so, what did you order and would you recommend it?

I ate at Jazz Kitchen last time I was there and loved it. Just wondered if Jazz Kitchen Express had anything good to offer as well. Other than the beignets which I've had, and I know those are good. :thumbsup2

Thanks!

None of it except the beignets was *great* in my opinion, but it was all adequate. (Oh- the coffee was great.) I had the breakfast sandwich, DH had the biscuits and gravy plate and DS had the french toast dippers. We all had bites and it was all pretty much okay. Disney pricing, but hey, it's Disney. :)

I had the popcorn shrimp and they weren't good. Husband had the gumbo ya-ya and he preferred the gumbo inside the park. The hush puppies and beignets were great. :)

I had heard such great things about the actual restaurant but the express version is pretty bad. We all got different things and none of us really thought the food was that great.
It was late lunch/early dinner time. I really don't remember what we got, I had some turkey sandwich I think. One friend got a BBQ sandwich thing, another got a meal that came with chicken and shrimp and other stuff I think. Also came with potato salad. None of it was too impressive and I hardly ever complain about food.

Now I can't convince my friends to try to actual restaurant based on the food we had from the express one! My mom really likes creole style stuff and Cajun food since she grew up in the South, so i guess I have to wait until we take another family trip in order to try the full restaurant.

Hmm, well, I guess we'll skip the Express unless we are just going to order beignets or bread pudding. ;) Thanks!

The burgers are excellent. Far better than any burger in the parks. This includes Test Pilot that many like (dried out stale burgers to me!). Fries are good too. Kids loved the corn dog nuggets. Every time we've eaten there we've had great food. The only exception was the Catfish Po-Boy. While it was good the amount of catfish was lacking. Other Po-Boy's were excellent.

Had red beans & rice there years ago and jambalaya and the BBQ poboy more recently. All were fantastic. Service there is slow, though. ;)

We thought the food was fine, and really very well priced for all that we got. And yes, the beignets are YUMMY too.

I'd give it a try if you're looking to eat quickly in Downtown Disney.

We had breakfast/brunch there 2 years ago and I thought it was pretty good. I don't remember exactly what I had, the french toast dippers I think, but I remember they had a fairly decent selection. I'd go again.
