Japan store and snack credits?

Anyone know if you can use the snack credits on the dining plan to buy anything in the Japan store in Epcot?

When we were there on June 2, they did not allow me to use my snack credits there.

Nope, they don't take credits. You can use Disney Gift Cards there, but they don't do the dining plan.

last year when the promo was the gift card for your birthday, Japan would not take that gift card either.
