January Trip

Hi neighbors, I posted on the tips board but would also like imput from dvc-ers. We would like to visit in January but have noticed the marathon is during certain days then. I'd like to know how this might impact our stay and if it might make it harder to request at the 7 month window. Any and all thoughts and/or advice welcome.

HI, We were there this past January during the Marathon. There was no interference with our activities. I wouldn't worry about it. We saw the runners & cheered them on but they did not cause any problems with our activities. Go for it!
