January Southern plus and minus?

I wondered if January was a good time to sail the southern Caribbean? Is the seas good, the water warm and the weather better?

Anyone have a clue?

Loved my January, 2016 cruise on the Wonder. Weather, water, and seas were practically perfect. Now, I'm a native Texan living on the coast,use to the generally bath tub temperatures of the Gulf of Mexico and hoping for temperatures below 85 for Thanksgiving. Some of the Canadians on board thought it was a tad warm.

It's tropical - mid 80s and up.

Yes! The further south you sail, the warmer it gets. Florida and the Bahamas could be hit or miss though.

We did the southern carribean in January of this year. It was great! The ocean was warm enough to swim everywhere we went!

We did the Southern this past Jan too and it was lovely. Perfect weather.

Yeah.. sounds like I can't go wrong to do the southern in January!
