Hi Everyone,
I think these are pretty standard questions, but can't find the answers :flower3:
Are there buses that go from all the resorts on Thurs and Fri to the WWofS to the Expo Center for packet pickups? If so, I noticed that the Expo is opened at 10am. What time do the buses start running there?

Also, for absentee pickups (to be able to pick up packets for others), it says a waiver must be signed by the person allowing you to pick up the packets. Does anyone know where I can find the waiver to print out copies?

I will be picking up 5K packets for my friend and 3 of her children. I just want to make sure I do it right.

Thanks soo much!:)

Yep the waivers are probably a few days out still. This year the process for picking up other's packets has been revised. In the past the absentee runner needed to sign the waiver (the document with the legal mumbo chumbo and race bib number) and write a note specifying you as the person to pick up their packet. In addition the absentee runner would need to provide a copy of a photo ID.

This year Disney added the Packet Pick-Up Authorization Form. This form is to be completed by the absentee runner in lieu of the letter directing the race to issue the packet to you. So this year is this form, a copy of the signed waiver and a copy of the absentee’s runners ID. Here’s the rub that I am not 100% sure of but think I know… For the minors the waiver requires the parent’s signature (since they are a minor). So I think that the kiddo packages would require a perent signature on the waiver, a copy of the parent ID and a parent filling out the Pick-Up Authorization Form. I would have a complete set for each packet - yes it's a little anal but you never know what flavor of volunteer you will get at the expo.

Sorry, really long winded but was in l-o-n-g meetings all week with legal staff and I think some of it rubbed off.
