January during marathon

How busy is Disney w/ this going on. I was hoping to go down 1/6-12 but if the last few days will be really busy we may rethink it. Thanks for the info.

i went this year during the jan marathon but honestly besides the runners actually running in the race past our room at the YC thats the only time they had an impact because we could hear them being cheered on...mind you it was actually really nice to watch them running by and having bfast. but the crowds in the parks were not bad at all..i would def go back again during the marathon and not think anything of it. hope this helps !

yes, thanks! it happens to be the week of my birthday, ds's third bday and the birthday of another friend who may come along. it would be so fun to celebrate them all in WDW!! and if we check in before his bday he'd wouldn't need a ticket one last time!!!!
