If we are to be so lucky to see room only or AP siscounts for January,do yo think they will start 1/1/04 or after the New years weekend? Also, will the parks(particularly MK) be very crowded New years day and that weekend? thanks

Hi Mark. I can't even begin to guess about possible dates for AP discounts if they do appear, but last year's AP discounts for January covered 1/1/03-2/12/03. There's plenty of historical info on mousesavers. Try here for some info: http://www.mousesavers.com/faq.html#codechart

I can venture a guess about crowds on New Year's Day--they'll be heavy. We were at WDW January 2-12 this year and January 2 at MK was unbelievably crowded. However, we were able to do everything we wanted that day with the exception of eating at a sit-down restaurant, since we didn't have PS. On the 3rd, we went to MGM and had the run of the place, and by the 4th, all the parks seemed nice and January Empty.
