Anyone have a suggestion for an all inclusive for a January vacation?

Where the temps are in the 80-90 range?

Caters to adults ranging in the ages 20 to 50 year olds?

Would love to hear all suggestions. Thanks!

Youre going to have to go pretty far south.

Aruba is pretty much the same temperature year round. We took the family last summer and stayed at the Occidental. My mom and her boyfriend went too, so the age ranges were 8-64. We all had an awesome time.

My mom and her BF go a couple times a year. Usually they go in February and remarked the temperature was pretty much the same in February as when we were there in June.

We have done Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for Christmas 2 of the last 3 years with another visit coming up this December.

You don't give a budget but Iberostar Grand meets your requirement, but it is not cheap. (we do the Iberostar Bavaro, not adults only, but still very nice and considerably cheaper).

Looked into Aruba, but it was over our budget

I wish there were all inclusives in the U.S.

I know Cancun has tons of all inclusives, but you wouldn't get me to Mexico-my dd said Cozumel is just a little better. People argue that the resorts are safe, but you still have to get from the airport to these resorts.

I understand your concern, but there are safety issues with all travel plans, whether your flying, driving or walking through a city.

You just need to read, read, read, and then go through reputable sites to get to your destination and enjoy yourself.

Or else, I would just stay home and never leave.

This type of uninformed statement means you honestly should not travel outside the US IMHO

There is probably just as much danger between your home and your local airport as there is in getting to an AI in Mexico.

You arrange transfers with your resort package.

The Riviera Maya which includes both Cancun and Cozumel is fine. There are no travel warnings issued for that region. Most crime has happened in border towns and on the either side of the country. To say you wouldn't go to Mexico is like saying you won't go to California because of crime in NY.

OP, Secrets and Excellence are good adult only resort brands. Adventure Spa Palace is also adults only and you can get up to $1,500 in resort credits.

Iberostars in Mexico are having a promotion of up to $500 in resort credits (depending which resort).

There is actually a Club Med all inclusive in Florida. It obviously won't meet the temperature requirement in January but just wanted to throw that out there.

Club Med Sandpiper caters to families with kids, not adults. And it's not on the ocean.

Adventura spa palace in riveria maya is really nice. It is about an hours drive from the Cancun airport. If you want something closer to the airport Moon Palace is supposed to be really nice too. Both Palace Resorts so really nice all inclusives.

The Royal in Cancun is an amazing Adults only AI in Cancun- Dh and I celebrated our 10th anniversary there Jan 1-8!

The Secrets and Excellence resorts in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico (just south of Cancun) are all awesome. But we have been there twice in January and temperatures can be kind of iffy. Pools, even heated are usually too cold and we were even chilly a few times just sitting on the beach. But 80 degrees in January is better than the normal January temps here in Philly!

Respectfully, it does cater to adults. There is an adult only pool, dining room, and golf and tennis clinics. It is often used for business conferences. It is not adult only but the OP didn't say it needed to be. The OP also didn't say that it needed to be on the ocean :confused3

I know, I shouldn't have even said that. My dd is an ICE agent and I hear way to many stories and I hear the worst. We have traveled and been to Mexico and I was glad I was with her. She made me aware of our surroundings, otherwise, I would of been one of those dumb tourist that allowed a local show you the way to a beach. It is true, do your homework, and know who you are booking with and where you are staying and make sure you have reputable transportation.

Really? Thanks, I am going to look into this.

I am going to be pleasant too. We stayed in the U.S. We went to Key West Florida, we all decided to stay in the States this year. My dd and her boyfriend had a very stressful year and just didn't want to deal going outside the U.S. Sometimes I wish they didn't have the job they do (see my previous post) and being informed of actual things that did happen, just makes you give pause and greatful for the choice we made, where we went on vacation.
