Looks I like the group is growing. It's our 4th Disney Cruise :yay: We'll be traveling with many family members and would love to join in on the fish extender group.

My family will be joining everyone on this cruise! I will be traveling with dh and ds5(6 on 1/31) and ds4(just turning 4 on 1/4). This is cruise number 6 with Disney and the one I have been looking forward to the most. I can't wait to visit the ports!

I find that my next cruise is always the one I'm looking forward to the most. :goodvibes

I suppose that is better than not looking forward to the next cruise.

It's been crazy hot here too - believe it or not. The temperature on my porch the day before yesterday hit 48 degrees celsius, thats 118 degrees fahrenheit!!! Anyone who thinks Canadians live in igloos, should visit this time of year, :rotfl:

This is our first cruise and none of us have been off the continent before so we are very excited about the ports.

We're also pin traders if anyone is interested. :ccat:

OK - so what exactly a "FISH EXTENDER?"

Good Question. I feel that the best way to get a good idea what they are would be to do a search on Disboards.com & viola!!

up will pop up many a thread about the subject.

Hi! I had started compiling a fish extender list, but life has just thrown way too much in my direction lately and I'm afraid I'm not doing it justice right now :sad2: At this point, I would be happy to pass this along to someone with more time as its not looking like things will settle down for me much before the cruise....

From what I have, the following people have replied as interested in fish extenders: myself (Starseeker1221), SaraSpringsIsHome, JamesFan, Knewton64, Tntstults, PixieDoodles, Jenkel, JerseyGram, and SirWilliam. It appears you've already started getting some replies for specific names and ages for your list, so I'll just add my own info as well:

Names: Vicky (age 30) and Alissa (age 29) and we'll be staying in stateroom 5133.

On a different note, its almost August and that means we are coming ever CLOSER to our cruise!! :dance3:

oK...I mean this from the heart about dealing w/"stuff."

I just lost my best friend of 14 years last week and well.....

THAT STINKS!!:sad1:

She was not only my best friend, she was also my dieting partner.:goodvibes

Oh how I remember the days of "just not feeling it" when she would be there for me; telling me to get up and lets get moving.

I would roll over onto my belly and say no.

She would respond by climbing into bed with me and belly flopping herself on my stomach..............

Dripping spit from her mouth .........
her nose pressed against literally against my nose -

with a leash in her mouth -

tail just a wagging and her just a whinning louder and louder.......

(I mean hey....who could argue w/that??):cloud9:

I would say, "Gimme 5 more minutes."

Sure enuf.....

4 minutes and 58 seconds later -'

there she would be.

------------------

All of that gone:upsidedow.

THAT STINKS!!

So, I am slowly going foward (currently on day 3 of my diet for my upcoming Hawaii vacation) but it just isnt the same.

I am currently looking to adopt but I am thinking the best thing for me to do is.........

reframe and focus in on my upcoming vacations :woohoo:and........

look to if necessary buy a Beagle tri-colored (or Lemon) puppy in January as a belated birthday gift.

So, should anyone of ya just hhaappeenn to c a Beagle that fits the above description, couldja fax her to me??;)

Ok......so to be serious here, I hear ya about too much stuff going on in one's life. Here is my Silly Goofy suggestion for ya:

If ya feel like it, come catch me one evening as I will no doubt be watching some Disney family entertainment somewhere on the ship - with a Margarita.

And if ya want, I just may have a few extra Key Lime cookies for ya :cloud9: to nibble on.
(I am bringing some onto the ship - prepackaged of course)

Now THAT'S a wonderful way imho to unwind & relax and let the outside worries melt away:

Some good Disney family entertainment while sipping on a margarita and downing a few key lime cookies to boot.:yay:.

It's been real.

P.S. OMG!!!
This is my 1000th posting!!:woohoo::woohoo::yay::woohoo:

CYA!!

Good Evening,

We are officially joining all of you on this fantastic cruise!! We just booked and are SOOOO incredibly excited, as I know all of you are too!!

This will be a surprise cruise for our children, DS (12), DD (10) and DS (7). We plan on unveiling the surprise on Christmas! This is our second cruise, although the first was in May 07, so in some ways, it seems like a lifetime ago!! Grandpa is joining us, so it should be a fun week for all!

Looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Blessings,
Deb

158 days or 3792 hours or 227,520 minutes or 13,651,200 seconds . . . . however you count it - our cruise date is getting closer every moment. We're all very excited :)

We've started looking at port excursions and I was wondering, since I've noticed a few of you have been on this cruise before, if you have any suggestions? I've read a few of the reviews on the site but it hasn't helped me decide. I'm concerned about booking too much - too little - and so on. Do any of you veteran cruisers have advice for this first timer?

Thanks a bunch,
Steph

I think we should - put a face to the name, so to speak.

How about the Promenade Lounge before the Muster?

Hello everyone! I am surprising my son with our first family cruise to celebrate his 13th birthday! We are sailing 1/21/2012 for a 7 night western caribbean cruise. He turns 13 on Jan 22. Will anyone else be on this cruise? Anyone participating in the fish extender program? I am new to this so I need a little help. I have the basic idea, but how do you sign up? Veteran cruisers, what is the water/weather like on this particular cruise this time of year. I want to be prepared. Can't wait to see everyone!:yay::dance3:
