Hi all! This is our first Disney cruise. We are super excited. We'd like to participate in the fish extender (not exactly sure what this is, but sounds fun). Here's our information:

First Names - Cortney (dad), Amy (mom), Anna (12), Abby (10), Ally (10)
Favorite Characters - Cortney - Donald; Amy - Mickey; Anna - Goofy; Abby - Minnie; Ally - Pluto (Although we love all the Disney characters)
We have a peanut allergy - can't have anything processed in a peanut facility.

If you have any other tips for first time Disney cruisers, please let us know.

A couple of questions - do we know what the show schedule is or what night is pirate night? Does everyone dress up for pirates night? What do people wear for dinner?

As for the other questions, although not an expert, here's my take....

A lot (including me and my family) but not all get dressed up for the pirates night.

We don't really get dressed up for evening meals unless we are in Palo's restaurant (adult only)

Cruise docs arrived!!! Unfortunately my husband retrieved and sorted the mail while I was at work today, so he saw the envelope, but we have a cruise booked in May that he knows about so I'm hoping he assumed it was about that one. Seeing the luggage tags made it feel so real!

We are surprising the kids but when I brought in the mail my 5 yr old saw the envelope and said "That's Mickey on there!" Luckily the 10 yr old wasn't around because she would have had more questions.

I think it's really nice to get dressed up a bit! At home, our jobs are really casual, so I don't get to see my husband in a tie, very often! I like to get the whole family "snazzed up" for semi-formal night and take pictures on the whitescreen for use in future Christmas cards!

I don't think you have to buy anything special, but "cruise casual" doesn't mean clothes you would do your gardening in!
