A little update on our cruise documents - you can tell we are busy with the holidays ! We were going to call Disney but decided to look closely at the documents to see exactly what we were missing and found --- it was all there ! We were confused because my husband and daughter both got documents, but they are the names on the two cabins. Then one granddaugther got seperate documents but we realized that is because she is in our cabin but was listed as a different home address. So, all's well - just getting really excited for Christmas morning ! Debbie

We will need a full report on the cruise reveal on Christmas. I love this stuff!

I'm not sure how I'm going to contain myself these last few days before Christmas as my girls are too learning about the trip on Christmas morning! I blog at http://mommy2twincesses.blogspot.com/ and am detailing ALL of it there! I've already shared several posts about it, but I'm hoping to get up our "Official Countdown to Disney" plan tonight! (Have to make sure the girls are out of the house to double check my list and take the necessary pictures!)

How are you going to tell them!? Our boys know about the cruise since it is my son's Make A Wish trip....but little do they know we are staying at Disney World for 5 days after the cruise!!! We are telling them on Christmas morning too. I'm trying to find a way to "wrap" it up as a present. I'd love to hear what you are planning.

We do a lot of scavenger hunts around the house with clues for birthdays - my last birthday, my granddaughters wrote all the clues themselves! We have a big piggy bank that we drew Mickey heads on and all this past year they put all of grampys change in the pig when he gets home from work so on Christmas morning we will have a scavenger hunt ending with one big box and the pig will be in it and it will be empty..... then it will dawn on the girls that the money we've been saving for the cruise is gone ! In a second box will be shirts and sunglasses and a planning video and other things for the cruise. We have also scheduled a phone call from Mickey for 11am about the cruise. Now we're just hoping no one slips before then..... Debbie

Yesterday in St. Louis we had 50mph winds - the snow was just blowing sideways and couldn't stick ! Kept thinking about sitting under a palm tree on Castaway Cay ...... Debbie

Yesterday here, southern Brazil, day started with 94°F, then we had winds aroud 50mph, rain and at night it was all calm and around 70°F...

Haven't posted on here in awhile - very excited about the cruise - can not believe how quickly it is coming up. I have been sick with the flu the past week and feeling like crap - definitely not the best holiday week so far. I am hoping we can all be healthy for the cruise - there is nothing worse than being sick on vacation.

I've still go to laminate them and put magnets on them, but it made it seem so real!! Ready to start making our fe gifts with the kids once they know about the trip!! I can't believe it's almost here!! Woohoo!!!

Yes! I can't believe either! I have to finish everything until next Saturday, because we are leaving to WDW first on Sunday!

Hi Colleen. This will be our first time doing the pin trading so I'm not an expert but basically you purchase disney pins and wear them on a lanyard and trade with others. I know at Disney World the cast members wear them too and then you trade with them to get different pins. I'm not sure what they do on the cruise but I think I've read somewhere that they have meeting times that you can go and trade with people. We purchased a few to keep (new ones for the boys) and then I purchased a random assortment of 15 pins off of ebay for cheap, we will use those to trade with. I hope that helps. See you all soon!

We just switched from Hyatt at the airport to the All Star Music resort before the cruise. Found out there is no longer check-in for the cruise at the airport, so decided to save money and be at a Disney property Never stayed at All-Star before, but it sure was affordable (probably getting what I am paying for).
Can't wait to see everyone on board. Have a great start to 2013. My husband and I look forward to escaping Minnesota in just a few days!!!!
