January 4th, 2015 Wonder

I need Cabin number and number of participants in the cabin. If there are any allergies, mention that. That information will be given to your group.

Yeah!:goodvibes
We have had CE participants from Hershey area before, and they included types of kisses I had never seen before!

Sign ups go unti December 20....I will send everyone their groups by the 23. Once people know their cabin #, PM me.

DH turns Platinum on this cruise! I already am, and was able to book Palo for Pirate night, Monday night!

Bobbi:goodvibes

I will however I have a IGT and hopefully I'll have it by then ...if not we will need to find a way to connect. Are we doing a meet and greet on embarkation day?

Yay for platinum.... I am a bit DCL crazy. :confused3 LOL oh and not too bad on parks either :cool1:

Well, I will have the group's organized by the 23 of December, so everyone will know the number in your group. I will continue to send PM's until everyone knows all the cabin numbers.

We lived in Bucks County PA for 15 years.

Is there a Meet planned? We are DVC Members and usually go to the DVC presentation on embarkation day. The reason we go, is there is usually a drawing for on Board Credit, worth trying to win!:

Something I want to mention. On recent DCL cruises, DCL offers some free internet, but you MUST sign up the first day. You can use the free units throughout the cruise, the wording makes some think you have to use them the first day.

Great!:thumbsup2

Another meet that sometimes happens is a get together to trade pins. There is always CM pin trading time, but this would be in a lounge, could happen just after the ship leaves port, or in AM on sea day. It is hard to schedule because there is a lot going on, but it is very informal and fun. Some cruisers have incredible pin collections.

Random Question: Do we know yet what night Pirate Night is on? On my login site it says Pirate Night for both Night 2 and Night 3 (Cozumel day). I just wasn't sure so I wanted to double check.

Welcome! My friend and I are both in college as well! I guess we are all true kids at heart!

yay! Hopefully my DS will take advantage of the college age activities.... We'll see LOL I can ever get him here on the boards, even though he is on a computer a lot...no DIS for him, he thinks I'm silly (well I might be

I do not know.:confused3i have checked old Navigators from 5 night Caribbean cruises. On the Magic, Pirate night was Day 3, Cozumel, Wonder had it Day 2 the first sea day.

I didn't realize it was scheduled for both nights. I saw it for Day 2... Booked Palo for that night, since Pirate menu is our least favorite.

That's weird . We booked Palo on the 3rd night hoping it would be Pirate Night, but I guess it doesn't matter to much as it will be our first cruise. As long as I can hit the dessert buffet I will be happy. :thumbsup2

Oh, your first cruise? You're in for a treat! The Pirate Night buffet that happens after the fireworks has some great goodies!:goodvibes

I know! I'm pretty much excited for everything! :goodvibes Waiting the next two months will be hard that's for sure.

I have seen numerous posts for things such as spa raffles, bingo, and other types of scheduled activities. Will we be provided a list of these things to do once we get on the ship? All I see in my itinerary are the standard things, such as pirate night. Tx in advance.

Quick question- wondering why people are booking Palo for Pirate night. Is the dinner not good on Pirate night, or, is that because Palo is less busy because people are going to Pirate night? A bit confused on that one.

Do adults dress up for Pirate night as well? Or just the kids?

I have a costume all picked out for it! (Also was my Halloween outfit) Also many people book Palo on pirate night because they do not like the menu as much as the other ones. It is just a personal preference.

For veteran DCL travellers- is Palo worth it? The reason why I am asking is because my husband and I love to eat so we go out to 5 star restaurants on a regular basis. Since we are travelling with our 3 year old son, we thought for this cruise we would skip the "adult only dinner" and use that money for excursions or souvenirs instead. Thoughts? We do have our inl aws coming who could babysit, so it wouldn't be an issue of childcare. Tx!

PS) What is the food on Pirate night? How do people already know what we will be eating one night to the next? LOL

Bobbiwoz- does the candy exchange happen in person, or, by fish extenders hanging on our door?
Tx
PS) Almost at my 10 posts so I can send you that PM :)
