January 4, 2007 Wonder

We will Magical Express from the airport to SSR and take DCL transportation from SSR to PC.

We have done this several times and it works great.

The Doughertys will probably arrive in Orlando on Dec 28th or 29th and will check into BCV on 12-31-06. We will be driving form Missouri so will have our own car to drive to port. We plan on arriving early to take advantage of being on the ship early.

Those of you who have cruised on Disney before can you tell us how you spent your day in Nassau? Three of us have been to Nassau one other time. Our thought is to possibly take the historic tour, a brief visit to the straw market and then take advantage of the ship being empty for the rest of the day.

4Boons we too are very involved with our local Youth Symphony and middle and high school orchestras. Our local youth symphony is going to Carnegie Hall in June. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Well, I booked some of my items online today. I booked a Spa appointment, the Couples Cabana massage, and our Palo reservations. :cool1:

We'll be there! Land and Sea package...we're giving it to our DD16 and DS11 for Christmas. Last time my DH and I cruised with Disney it was on the Big Red Boat and were expecting our DD. It's getting harder and harder not to slip up and ruin the surprise....we booked right after we got back from The World on spring break.

This cruise is also a christmas present for my family, although not a secret. It is a first cruise for each of us and I am so excited! :Pinkbounc We added a couple days at Saratoga Springs before the cruise. I just love all things Disney!

Welcome GreenAcres! We're currently in the process of "brainwashing" our DD1.75 by forcefeeding her every Disney movie, show, music, etc. so we can ensure that she will be properly AWED by our Disney trip. I hope you can keep the surprise up!

:cool1: Time to start making some noise......we are on page four....that cannot happen :Pinkbounc I sorry I have no contributed all that much to the chat but I have enjoyed all the banter about our lives and the preparation for each of our trips.. You still cannot peel me off the ceiling. This is the first cruise and trip to Disney that I have ever been able to do financally. We are living large with the Poly and excursions and to us thats big. You only live once....
Thanks again for everyone's comments and good luck with your plans.

We will see you all on the Wonder.

It's hard to believe that we are under the 60 day mark.

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I am so excited myself. The only thing I have left to do is book return air (which I have not finalized my decision on when to return) and transportation (I think we are going to do a rental car). pirate:

I was reading a post earlier about DIS cruisers who were sitting next to each other at dinner and didn't even know it until after the cruise.

So I thought I would post some pictures:

Here is me and my husband at our Epcot reception:

This was from 2003 so I will try to get a more recent photo uploaded. I had them on my Comcast account, but unfortunately they have been bought out by Time Warner here. :sad2:

Okay so speaking of Dinning Rotations Dave and I have the second seating. What has everyone else been assigned so far? First or Second?

The Doughertys have second seating. John and I are going to Palo at 6:30 the first night for our 21st anniversary which is that day and then meet the kids for second seating. Looking forward to the cruise!

Congratulations on your Annivesary. :bride:

Dave and I are eating at Palo's on Friday night at 6:30. I am hoping that will not be our AP night. I am not sure if we will even get off the ship in Nassua or not on that day. Although my husband is certified for Scuba and I think he has been eyeing one of the excursions so who knows. pirate:

The Boons have second seating but we don't know our rotation
(T-A-P, A-P-T, P-A-T).

:yay: :cool1: Congratulations as well on your anniversary.. :cheer2:

The Killams we be at the early seatings. We have found that our children love the theater...We thought an early dinner and then the show would tire them out..Leaving some time quiet time for the parents.......... :thumbsup2

The Awalds will be at Late Seating. It seems that our little ones tolerated (slept through!) the dinners late better last time. But each being a year older, it will probably be a crapshoot on how we will survive dinner. I invested in an Ipod for our 1.75 YO DD. Hopefully continuous Dora and Little Mermaid will keep her busy during dinner and the flight. I booked my DW a Pedi as her Christmas present from our DD. I hope she likes it. The massage times were a little bad when I looked, so settled on a Pedi instead. We also booked for myself and my Dad the Fishing excurision on CC, it looks like fun. He loves to fish, so maybe this will be a relaxing time for him, as he doesn't do the beach so well.

We're on early seating. I couldn't imagine Ricky eating later than 7. He wouldn't end up eating anything otherwise, just snacks!

We'll wave to the Skillams! :D

I figured with main seating we'd eat, watch a show, and our nightowl kids could go on without us after that. Has anyone tried a cabana massage? I booked one for my DH since the spa times that were left were really bad. Also...anyone else staying at the Poly first?

The Killam's will be at the Poly on the saturday before the cruise. Giving us an extra day for travel, (my DS was worried about a freek snow storm and we might have to cancel) just in case. :woohoo: See you at the volcano pool.
