This is our first Disney cruise and we're super excited! This thread is for people who have booked a WONDERful Disney Cruise for January 29, 2014, who want to share DCL cruising tips, and who may want to be a fish extender (FE) participant (optional). Join in on the WONDERous fun!

Include stateroom, first names, ages, favorite character, allergies/restrictions, etc or whatever info you think is important to making the FE fun. it's our 1st Disney Cruise

my question to others is if you plan on getting off ship at each port and what do you plan on doing at each port?
ours is:
get off at Castaway Cay - we have a cabana & plan to try and fit in as much as we can.
get off at Nassau - roam around a little and we have a shallow dolphin excursion at Atlantis.
get off at Key West - roam around and hopefully go to the butterfly Conservatory and Aquarium and the Southern most point, walk up and down duvall st and look for roosters and 6 toed cats.

Welcome to the group! I did what I understand needs to be done to add the thread to the sticky. I'm waiting for "IrishCowboy" to do what he does to add my thread to the sticky. Until then, we hope that others find it as you did and maybe we'll find peeps on FB too.

It's me, my husband and daughter Kayla (4). She loves Rapunzel and Ariel the most but Belle and Cinderella are close behind. She loves purple. Our FE I'm making will be a Rapunzel theme. She has no allergies, except to my cooking I guess.

We're only renting tubes at Castaway Cay. We'll bum around Nassau and Key West. She won't touch dolphins or look at an aquarium for an hour so we decided to keep this 1st family vacation simple.

By posting here you are "signed up" for the FE for this cruise. Welcome! In Facebook, did you search 'Disney Wonder - January 29, 2014' (exclude quotes? Just type in the search bar Disney Wonder and the group shows up first thing on the results list - at least it does when I search for it.

Hi, question, and sorry if it's repetitive of FB posts, wondering if it's ok if we all do the FE exchanges? not just the kids?
could we have a idea of what people like before January 10th when the email will be sent? just because we have the holidays between now and then, and if I'm out shopping maybe I can get some items if I know what they like before hand.....I know it doesn't have to be what they specifically like, but would help in when I'm looking.

We can do this however everyone wants. I was planning on including everyone in the room, as long as it was communicated who's all in the room. So I was going to make 1 gift for every name I collect. I can make up a spreadsheet, put the link here, and update it as more people join. It's my first Disney cruise too and I thought this sounded like a fun idea. The passengers don't do this on any other cruise line. If you're going to decorate your door too, remember that the deco needs to be on magnets, no tape. I'll deal with that once I'm done making my FE.

I'm putting the spreadsheet together. What is your stateroom number? Also, in case others are making person-specific goodies, please share favorite characters and colors. I've seen on Pinterest that some past cruisers have given food treats, so let us know if there are any food allergies.
