The beaches are gorgeous in St Maartin and its a very friendly island.......not sure which one we are going to yet but I am sure others will suggest. Just be careful with a 9 year old boy you dont go to the Nude Beaches - you might not get him to leave! LOL (my 11 year old son woudl die of embarrassment at that type of beach)

That's another thing we need to watch out for! My son said he's not going to a beach if there will be gross half naked people. He'll change his mind in a few years... I'm hoping to find a beach near the ship that we can go to after a shopping trip. Not sure & wish we wouldn't of waited to figure it out, not like us at all.

We are working on are FE gifts. I haven't started the FE yet. I'm hoping it goes together easily, if not I will have to buy something that works. Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for the fe? tia

there is a post on how to make one I have seen it before. I will try and locate it for you then let you know later today. My mother made mine last year but we didnt use any kind of pattern we just kinda figured out how to do it by looking at other peoples fe that they posted pics of. Basically just pouches that we hung on dowels it worked out fine . there was 4 of us cruising so we did 4 pouches , some people on the cruise just used organizers or stockings as it was close to christmas when we went.

For us Canadians who might have watched a Village on Diet on CBC last night, this town is about 10 minutes away from me! If didn't watch it, it is like the equivelant of The Biggest Loser but involves a town of 1900. An interesting watch!

I managed to drag my sorry butt to the gym at 5am this morning. Wow. I can't believe I did it! I will probably crash at about 3pm today, but I got my cardio in!!

No they are not optional. They have to wear them. On the thread I started a lady said she put it on her dd leg instead of her wrist.

They need to know who the child is and who they belong too. That is all on the bands. This goes for a lost child on the boat too. This band now has a tracker in it unlike the old bands that were just like any other water park with info on it .

Is anyone else staying at the Hyatt MCO the night before or are you all staying either at the port or at WDW?? We were originally not coming in until the morning of our cruise, but decided it would be more relaxing to come in the night before. We don't get in until 7:30 pm and my SIL is getting in at 10 pm so everyone decided to stay at the Hyatt and take a limo from there in the morning. Just wondering if we are the only ones who will be there!!!

Have we decided where/when to do a link up?? Maybe we could get together the first morning?? It might be a lot to try and do a link-up on the first evening with arrival/door decorating/sail away party/life-boat drill/and early dinner. It has been 4 years, but I remember the first afternoon feeling really rushed and then it was time for dinner/show/bed. I would like to meet and thought it would be fun to do it sooner in the cruise - especially if for some reason we have someone get a different cabin.

The different cabin thing is my little fantasy. I just picture us arriving at port and for some unknown reason being told we have been upgraded from our Cat 6 balcony to a suite Or actually it would just be nice to get a Cat 4 since it makes for much more room for the pack-n-play Of course this fantasy is probably just as likely as me becoming best friends with Ellen Degeneres or Jon Stewart or having to decide between my DH and Brad Pitt!!!

Well that would work....

When we had a meet two years ago we actually meet in the terminal since we were all there early. Had no problem finding some of the people because we too saw pictures before hand. Then we had a meet at one of the lounge when on the boat. This too was on the first day.

But it is up to you guys , I don't have a set schedule....

Just booked flights for the cruise! Wooo! Getting in the night before and leaving the day after. (Last minute change!)

So we are staying at Beach Club villas the night before and staying at the Wilderness Lodge the day we return from the cruise.

I was naughty and spent a few hours at work last Friday making the adult FE gift. (To be fair, I work overnights and everyone was sleeping so it was either that or watch movies on netflix...ohwait, I did that too. )

I think thats a good idea to meet up on the 2nd day, it is a little rushed day of boarding I believe 2nd day is a sea day? We did meet up on boarding day for our nov. cruise and it did work out okay I remember the meet was somewhere around 230 in the promenade lounge, either is good with me! maybe we should take a poll to deceide
