Gonna keep it short and sweet. Just the big stuff here. Sorry if there are no ride reviews.
Arrived on Delta, used Murray Hill Transportation for service. Thought they were great! Very accomodating to our early arrival flight and wanting to get to the airport a little earlier than scheduled.
We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter, three girlfriends at Disney for a long weekend.
We arrived early Friday to a room that was already ready. I've previously requested a corner room (two windows to me always seem to make the room look larger) and ended up in 6201. Corner room AND partial waterview at a standard price.
Didn't have tickets to the parks until the next day so we just relaxed. Sat in hot tub, ate lunch, went to PI.
Saturday was MK. And yes, the green walls are everywhere! I miss the Walt and Mickey Statue, and would LOVED to have missed the huge crane arm that is in all of my castle photos. If you have to get photos of the castle, try from the left side of the castle. Ate lunch at Tony's Town Square, both food and service was awesome. Mickey's PhilharMagic was great! (comparable to the quality of Shrek at UO) Dinner that night was at Chef Mickey's. Goofy got me laughing so hard that I was crying...and have never realized how many sugar packets could fit into a glass of ice tea.
Next day was MGM Studios. Got the fastest fingered seats for Who Wants to Be a Millionare Play It! Didn't make it to the hot seat though. Late lunch at Brown Derby. Food was great, service could have been better. Skipped Fantasmic! to hit PI again.
Monday was double duty: AK in am and EP in pm. Breakfast was at the Restaruantosaurous. Love them cheesy pototoes. The weather was perfect for the Safari..not to hot and the animals had just been fed. Afternoon nap refreshed us for EP. Hit the Living Seas for Crush, Mission: Space and Mexico for dinner. Not the best food for me, but the two with me loved it. (Too dark, too many tables close together, my food was bland.) Saw Illuminations and shopped on the way out.
Last morning was Downtown Disney. Lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, shopping in the Christmas Store and having a REAL $4 chocolate milkshake. Ahh.... heaven.
