January 24-28, 2010 -- Wonder

 hello all.

I am interested in the FE exchange.

I will PM you the information some time soon.

Still waiting patiently for a cabin assignment.

I believe they are up to Jan 9th with their assignments, so we will be a bit longer still before we get ours. :rolleyes1

Hello Fellow Cruisers!

We will be joining you for four glorious days at see.
Travelling Party is me, Dh, DD 3 yrs, and DD 1 yr.

Wish us luck.

Could use some help in what to do in port with the little ones?

Wendy

What would you like to do?

Are you looking for a deluxe high budget experience or low budget options?

Have you been to other, um, how do I say this politely, islands with poverty and crime? Are you OK with taking some risk for you and your family?

Are you interested in shopping, sightseeing, adventure or just laying on the beach?

To be perfetly honest, I think we will put kids in a program and go off on our own during the Nassua stop. Just to take a little time for ourselves, maybe hit the casino and beach/pool.

Can't wait -- help me out at the Disney Marketplace isn't their a place for the girls to be made up as a princess? anybody know the name?

It's the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique.

I can't believe this cruise is coming up so fast!

Does anyone know how many cabins have expressed an interest in the FE exchange? On our Halloween cruise we had over 30 cabins and that got to be a bit daunting...

From the list that I have made (from people posting an interest) there seems to be a total of 5 cabins so far. 10 adults and 5 children.

That should be fairly manageable I would think.

Yes, that is much more manageable!! :)

I guess we will work with what we have :confused3

Maybe you could try sending messages to those who expressed an interest and see if they still want to participate?

I agree with the overpacking. Since it's going to be our honeymoon and the cruise is our first stop, trying to figure out what to pack is the hardest. :) Especially since we are coming from Hawaii. :P

Ok, i haven't had enough posts to send a PM to you yet Ganandem. I guess I gotta start posting more messages as we are getting closer to the cruise? Right now soon to be DH and I are interested in the FE.

Quick Question, since this will be soon to be DH and my honeymoon, are there any suggestions for things to do on the cruise to make it special? Thanks!

How long will you be on your honeymoon for? What is your next stop after the cruise? :)

We got our cabin assignment today, upgraded from a Cat 12 to a Cat 10. I'm very pleased!

Krista

No upgrade for us this time :guilty:

Oh well at least we are on the ship:woohoo:

No upgrade for us this time either. Cat 12 GTY to Cat 11 and since we have 4 that was a given. Oh well. atleast we paid for a 12 and not an 11. I'm sure I saved a little anyway. And, in the long run, who cares? We are on the ship!!

I must admit that I was just a bit disappointed when I saw our cabin assignment last night.

Especially since they are showing categories 10, 11 and 12 still available on their website:confused3

But I'm okay with the location of our cabin. Actually it is in a pretty good spot, easy access to the adult night clubs (which I like to go to at night), the Walt Disney Theater and the shopping area. Also not so far from the elevators.

That is what happened to my mom and dad on our 10/31/09 cruise. They ended up in 2017. They were kind of disappointed, but like you said, happy to be on the ship...
