Yup! I booked my room only reservation yesterday and will have to call back when military discount renewal is announced.

Room only rates are showing up right now. It looks like the rooms that I've been looking at are only a dollar more than the rack rate for this year..not sure about all.

I did the math for our rooms at AKL and if my math is correct, it was about a 3.5% increase.

How did you see them? I tried to do a room search on my phone and laptop and it only shows through December stays.

I already book room only but want to see how much packages are when they are released tomorrow. When are Jan discounts usually announced?

OK I figured it out. It wasn't letting me view the dates on the disney's main page for resort searches. But when I selected a resort first then chose dates it let me see 2019.

I booked a room on Friday for 2019 and according to my search it's exactly the same in my online search as they gave me on Friday. I wonder if they didn't change prices for my resort, Coronado Springs, or if they already had the prices for 2019 when I booked.

I assume this rack rate is the most it will be if I book now right? Or can they raise it later?

Booked the Swan for January 12-19. DH#1 and family are staying at the Beech club. Almost went with Bonnet Creek. Changed mind last minute..

I booked a room at AKL 1-6 to 1-12, but will make any adjustment when they release discounts. Looking forward to going to WDW when it's a little cooler walking around the parks. And, definitely looking forward to staying AKL again--feel like I never leave though since I always go there every trip to eat and hang with the animals. Of course, if there's a better discount elsewhere, I'll be moving along as always. My fingers are crossed!

They cannot raise it on you later.

I'm not educated on this at all, but is there a way to increase the chance you receive codes in the mail? What are other ways to get a code? We're going on January 2019, so just seeing what other discounts we can get if that's possible! Appreciate any tips.

I have booked for January so is it correct that now we wait for discounta to be announced? We usually stay off site but the last two trips were at all star movies and that is where I've booked for January . I'm trying to learn how to get the best deals on rooms since my family is now spoiled to staying on property. Lol we are annual passholders so maybe there will be some discounts for that. I'd appreciate any advice from the pros around here

Make sure you are signed in. Book dining, play around with dates. I get them often. But to be honest, they are usually the same as, if not close to, whatever discounts are being offered at the time.

Add me to the waiting and watching list. Last year we were able to use the Disney Visa discount. I am really hoping for another awesome discount this year too!
