Just got home. Another long drive and fantastic vacation has come to an end.

Thanks Vince and family for your very thorough trip report. Very helpful to those of use in the midwest battling the cold and snow.

We booked preferred and I requested the 100 loop but ended up in site 202,

KYGirl, The exact same thing happened to us on our very first time staying at Fort Wilderness. I had the same concerns also about being next to the comfort station but since we didn't have a golf cart it was great. Glad to hear you had such a nice time!

This was a great monthly trip report IMO (worth what you paid for it).
