Best friend just booked world of color lunch reserved seating at wine Country Trattoria. Also Blue Bayou lunch. Both are firsts.

We were debating Discover the Magic Tour but afraid the almost 12 and 14 year olds would be a little too old. Any thoughts?

WOW back to back WDW and DL trips? I could not even imagine. I've never been to WDW and I'm thinking that we might try next year. I have so much to learn just for that trip LOL.

We are at the 11 day countdown until we head to Fresno to stay with the inlaws the night before DL. I haven't started my packing list yet but will this weekend I'm sure!

Feel better!! We're down to 8 days and I have a scratchy throat, sniffles and cough. THe little has sniffles and cough too. I hope it passes!

we just decided to go 2 hours ago. we will be there tomorrow late until monday (1/19-1/21). It is my daughter's first trip. I hope she enjoys it. I'll be pulling out the old disney planning videos tonight. we live about 7 hours away and both of us need a good road trip!

What is it with the amount of illness this winter! My wife, my 3 yr old, myself and even the baby, all just got colds. So hoping this passes quickly so we feel great for our trip next week.

That's awesome. The spectrum of people is incredible and all are great. On one hand, you have insane people like me who plan their trips years in advance, and on the other, a few hours. Granted, driving vs. flying is a key variable in determining how spontaneous you can be, but still, I would think both types of Disney vacations would be a blast.

Sure, the long-term planner might be more organized, but all the planning can be overwhelming. Just winging it on a few hours of planning is a care free trip.

Thanks everyone! Dr. fit me in late and diagnosed sinus infection. Rx for antibiotics and a saline rinse. So here's to mending and keeping my girl's healthy!
