January 2012 USA Airfares

I am thinking about doing another Disney Cruise in Jan. 2012 and would like to get an idea of the price of airfares to LA or Orlando in January.

Has anyone flown during January 2011 to the US and if so what was the fare price?

Went over Jan 10 airfare with V was near $1300 to LA

My airfare Syd to LAX with Qantas on 8th Jan this year was $2,500 (I wanted to go V but my sister wanted to go Qantas - she was regretting it after we got offloaded from our flight and all the A380 dramas!)

I bought a ticket for Jan 19 returning Jan 30 on Qantas. MLB to LAX, open jaw SFO to MLB; both ways via Sydney.

I think I purchased it when a deal came out in very late November?? In any event, I got my adult ticket for about $1500 or possibly less. DS and I got tix for about $2500 or $2700 total.
