I'm planning my Honeymoon for January 2010. Is it too early too book a hotel? I know on the website, it won't let you do anything past December! Do I need to get a travel agent?

I haven't been to Disney since I was 7- so I'm really excited!!

You can book a room only reservation now but you won't be able to change it to a package unitl August probably. You'll have to pay one night at rack rate and then it will be refunded as soon as you change it to a package.

i think I'm going to book our room only in april!! Yay!

We are booked for Jan 2010 and we already started paying on it too. That is the best part for us! We are hoping to have it paid off this summer so we can then start paying for the package part and the airfare. Yeah just call 407wDisney and you can book a room anything for less than 499 days out.

We are planning our trip for the end of January. Our plans now are to stay at the Beach Club, but our hearts are at the Wilderness Lodge, so that may change. We will be making our reservations after our tax return. I guess that is our economic stimulus plan.

We were supposed to go in September (still haven't canceled the ressies - and already had plane fare too!) but something came up and we'll have to reschedule for next year.

So now we'll be going in January of 2010! How are the crowds? The weather? Are there usually codes/promos?

I'm excited, September seemed too hot anyway! January will probably be perfect!!

I haven't booked anything yet, but I am hoping to take ds for his 16th birthday. Right now I am looking at the 2cd - 9th. I hate having him miss school, but hopefully with winter break just ending there won't be to much going on.

At least there is plenty of time to plan!

Can you only make reservations by phone? I tried to do 'room only' on the website, and it said I could not
I'm really hoping my family (3 Adults and 1 child) can go to DW January 2-8!

If no one minds me asking, are the prices for your packages drastically different from 2009?
(That will be the determining factor, with the economy the way it is...)

We are planning for January 2010. DD's 4th bday is at the end of Jan., so trying to decide which days right now. Will be also taking my 2 nephews who will be 14 and 10, so they will have to miss school. I know they'll be so sad... .

We have always stayed at POP and the kids love it, but the oldest one has begged to stay at the Contemporary. I think we may bite the bullet this time and do it while he still wants to go with us! If we can all fit in one room (5 people) it won't be THAT much more than 2 rooms at POP. I'm trying to justify this to myself, lol!

Anyway, I'm in for JAN 2010! Need to get my room res. done soon.

After going this past Jan as a 1st timer. We loved it! No waiting in lines. Plus we got to miss a huge snowstorm and below zero temps at home.
We are planning our jan 2010 trip for the week before MLK day.

Okay, I don't know if it is just me or not, but everytime I look into booking in January of 2010, the dates are grayed out.....

Has anyone else had troubles?
