January 2010 discounts...

Is the only discount right now available for a January 2010 date the 4/3 deal (or 5/2 for value resorts)??? I booked my vacation for January 13th and am wondering if anything else is available. If it becomes available, would I still be able to take advantage of it now that I am booked?

That is the only deal currently. I've read that room-only discounts may be available at some point, but not yet. Last year 40% off rooms was not available to the general public until 12/4, I think. Annual Passholders got the discount much earlier. You can always call and apply any offers that come out - as long as there are rooms available for your dates and times at your resort for that price - or you could switch your resort if there's a room available for your dates, but not at your resort. Once you're inside 45 days of your vacation date, there's a $50 change fee which they seem to only apply if your total price goes down. I am hoping that if the 4/3, 5/2 doesn't fill the rooms the way they hoped that they'll offer free dining, but I don't think they ever have at that time of year (we're going at the end of January). If you have one deal booked and another comes out, you can switch codes, but can't use both.
