HELP!! I need to do one more ADR too LOL!! I'm thinking for Tuesday night which is a free night for me, I was thinking of heading back to DHS, but I'm pretty flexible!! Where to dine......?????

Is there a way to "bookmark" where I left off on these postes? :confused3

So sorry for your loss.

Yes, you can bookmark. If you hit the bookmark, it will save the thread at the page you are, so when you pick up the bookmark, it will take you back there. You just have to remember to delete the old ones, or your bookmarks will stack up pretty quickly, based on how fast this thread moves :rotfl:

Do you want to eat in DHS, or close by? I'd suggest something at the Boardwalk/Yacht Club/ Beach Club area. There's a TON of great options there, then walk it off or take the boat back to DHS.

Hi, Peeps! I was in Nazareth today and our church had a baptism in the Jordan River, so this is my first chance to be online.

Well, it's a disappointing day in my Disney planning. My TA told me that the only value or moderate still available for this big deal that came out yesterday is All Star Sports. I hate sports. Always have, pretty much. The deal will save us $358, give us 2 extra days of park tickets, and give us $400 worth of gift cards, so we have to take it. And it seems like this might be the only deal coming out. It isn't near what I was expecting or hoping for.

And I feel so sad about not being able to stay at Pop Century. I had never even looked at All Star Sports. I just took a few minutes and it looks fine. My boys will enjoy it. Even Maggie, my 7 1/2 year old, will probably like it just fine. It's first on and off the buses, which is positive. But other than that, I'm having a hard time mustering up any real excitment.:sad2:

So, I'm waiting to tell Scot that we have to move to AS Sports. I'm sure he won't care. We don't plan to be in the hotel except in teh evenings for sleeping. One day we'll spend the morning at the pools. That's it. So.

Bummed. After all the hype yesterday, I was really expecting something spectacular. It's a pretty decent savings, though free dining would have saved us way more.

Now, if I move our reservation to All Star Sports and then I get a pin via email, can I use the pin in conjunction with the deal or is it one or the other? 'Cause I'd be really bummed if I took the move and then got a pin that would actually save me even more money. :confused3

Feeling bummed out for the first time in planning my trip. Off to catch up on the thread and see how you all are doing!

Sorry you didn't get what you were hoping for Carrie. I've never stayed at any of the Values, but I think they look like fun. All 3 All Stars are within walking distance to each other so you will be able to used all 3 food courts and pools! :goodvibes

I just changed mine yet again. They must have refreshed something because a lot more availability just appeared AND it let me book it just for 5 nights and still get one night free and the gift card and not have to pay for extra nights of the dining plan, so I am thrilled.

The resort areas would be great. I hear good things about Spoodles and Beaches & Cream would be great, too. If you are going to stay in DHS I would suggest 50's Prime Time for the fun interatction. (Are you already eating there?)

I'm sorry about that, Carrie. The $400 would be great, though. I think that if you see your kids enjoying (gosh... I just typed the abbreviation for All Star Sports...yikes) the resort, then it will ease your heart. Just a thought! Hope everything workds out.

That's awesome that you didn't have to add dining plan days! I am so glad that you can still get the deal (and the $200) even if you aren't staying 7 nights. Good for you, sister!

I'm thinking of either Beaches & Cream or Big River Grille & Brewing for my ADR I need to add. . . . Anyone been to either or both of them?

Shelly- Never been to Beaches & Cream, but would LOVE to go. I don't see how we could fit it into this trip, but who knows.... When I was a castmember everyone said to eat there or LeCellier.

I don't know anything about Big River.

Carrie I'm sorry you didn't get the resort you really wanted!!! However you might get to the All Stars Sports and find out that you love it LOL!!!

Well I looked into upgrading and it would end up costing me about $400 more and I'm not all about spending that. :( Oh well next time LOL!

I was leaning towards Big River earlier and now I'm leaning towards Beaches & Cream!! :rotfl:

Maybe I should just call and see what's even available. . .

I was thinking we could just hang out at the Boardwalk on our first evening. We would like to walk over to the Swan and check it out too. They offer some great specials sometimes and we are thinking about it for a future trip.

Sounds like a plan! Beaches and Cream might be a little quicker and more laid back, too. I love to walk around that area at night.:goodvibes

If anyone can watch the travel channel - they are currently showing a show on Disney Cruise Line. At 2 p.m. (central) they list a show about WDW - MK. Not sure if it's new - I've seen the cruise one before. Enjoy!! :)

QOTD - I thought it was something about snacks -
I'm looking forward to trying a Dole Whip, but would also like to try Figaro Fries (maybe that's more of a meal - how big are they?)
