I went to the movies with my girlfriends last night and came home to roses and the sweetest card ever. I'm just waking up and it's noon. He let me sleep in today. The first time since DD (1 1/2) was born.

Is it your birthday?? I was going to argue that I had the best DH in the world but, jeez, that's awfully nice!!! You are lucky! And might I add, you have a beautiful name. Does it mean "sun"?

Ok so it's cold here, that evil "S" word is in the forecast for Monday, they are saying it's supposed to be north of where I am, but I know I'll see them....

Alright, I need to get myself bundled up to go outside and do some building. We took down our old patio stuff because the wood was all rotted and now we have to put this new thing up. I'll be back to check - in...errr..I mean warm up.

The weather is so weird here. It is really windy and wet but kind of warm..it a strange fall day.

Yep, it's always the Saturday before Halloween. Then throughout the week there are different things in town, a merchants trick or treat, a parade, and the outlet mall trick or treat.

Whew! Well - at least you found out with a friend! DH and I were at a dinner with a table of British people and I said something about a "fanny pack". Dead silence and shocked faces followed!

Okay, will, I've made my flight ressies for the trip to be with my mom. I'll be making this trip solo....DH was going to go, but we ran into the difficulty of finding someone to stay with DS, since he's in school. With the risks involved with this surgery and her age, I just felt in my heart one of us should be there with her.

I'll be leaving EARLY Monday morning and returning Thursday evening. Her surgery is Tuesday. I'm sure I'll have a lot to catch up on these boards by then, and I'll be ready for a break!!!

Of course, now I need to go into work tomorrow to get something done that I needed to do first thing Monday morning, but that's okay.

It's a rainy day here, too, so we've spent the morning painting. Not one of my favorite activities, but necessary. Plus, I'm such a MESSY painter!

I went to the movies with my girlfriends last night and came home to roses and the sweetest card ever. I'm just waking up and it's noon. He let me sleep in today. The first time since DD (1 1/2) was born.

Wow! Total Score! Very Nice, "G", VERY NICE!

My Dh went and did the weekly grocery shopping WITH our daughters, AND did most of the ! I think he might be in line for runner up of Best Husband award! ME? I went shopping with my mom and she bought me not 1, but 2 new winter jackets! Can you say spoiled? AND DH had some stuff he had to do over at our church and took the girls with him so now I have some FREE TIME to do whatever I want

HI all,
I am new to these boards. My mom and I are headed to Disney World on Dec29- Jan 5 to celebrate the completion of my masters dregree and student teaching. I AM SOOOOO EXCITED> This is my 12th trip to Disney World. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort, hopefully in Aruba.
