That sounds about right to me. I did read somewhere (maybe on this board) that Coral Reef was now 2 TS credits. So long as LeCellier is not, I'm okay!!!!

I was just really surprised! I hadn't heard that. Lucky for us we weren't going to any of those places anyway. I am really surprised that Coral Reef went to 2 TS's and Le Cellier didn't. Happy, but surprised! We've been to both and I believe our bill was higher at Le Cellier.

Oh how I can't wait for the Smores dessert at Le Cellier!! :cloud9:

Thanks for the info! I won't mind if Cinderella isn't there. We are doing CRT for our last breakfast. Although it would be exciting to meet her twice. :cutie: I'm really hoping to see Ariel. I don't believe I have ever met her and she is DD's favorite.:goodvibes

Ariel has been there our last two visits, we'll keep our fingers crossed for you:). If Cinderella is there, you definitely get to interact with her more than at CRT. She is pretty rare outside of CRT and 1900 Park Fare, but does make the occasional appearance at Akershus. Of course, Belle is our favorite at Akershus;).

Yeah... we leave 21 minutes earlier also.... so far our returning flight hasn't changed... I am guessing for a 7am flight we could probably arrive at 5:30 am... means leaving the house at 5 am... up at 4 am. OMG WHAT WAS I THINKING:lmao:

We may stay at a hotel just outside of the airport. That getting up with the children at 3:30am is for the birds!

I'm going in January! My dates are January 15th-January 20th and I'll be staying at the PoP century. This will also be a solo trip for me and I am beyond excited. This is a gift from my Non-Disney Hubby LOL (he's going hunting in two weeks LOL) for me to explore the world my way LOL!!

Anyways I have booked ADRs at Tony's, Chefs, 50s Prime Time, and 1900 Park Fare for my trip!

Hi, Snowbirds! Wazzzzzzzup????? :lmao:

... car we are being loaned is a 17 year old Dogde Grand Caravan and Scot's nervous about trying it out on the road to Florida in January. Might be great...might leave us stranded. :confused3

Hi Peaches (or Shalom?), :wave2:

We're driving a Caravan that will be 10 years old and will have about 130,000 miles on it. As long as it's had the oil changed regularly and you check the fluid levels and belts, you should be fine. Those vans have the greatest engines in the world. Mechanics have said they are good for 250,000 miles with no problem.

Are you leaving from PA? That's one of the states that has an unlimited mileage rule, so you could get a rental for less than driving two cars, or flying.

What dates will you be on the road?

Thanks for the warm welcome!! Words don't even begin to describe how excited I am...I'm even sort of bummed that I have booked everything and now I'm like what do I do for the next 3 months...must find something to plan LOL!

Good to know! The trouble is, we know nothing about this van. I think it's been well maintained because the church offering it to us has said so. I have no idea the mileage, etc. I should ask. Of course, when you have no car and someone offers you the use of a car for the cost of gas and regular maintenance for 7 months that will actually fit your entire family, you don't usually ask too many questions!:lmao:

Yes, we're leaving from PA. I looked at some rental prices, but what do you mean about unlimited mileage? If I remember correctly, the cost of renting was almost the same as flying.

We'll be on the road January 7-8 and then January 15-16. We're hoping to do it all without stopping. We'll see how that goes!:scared:

Has anyone looked at the participating restaurants in the DDP lately???

Last time I printed them out there was only 1 in DTD, but someone said that more would be joining as it gets closer. So this weekend I printed out the list again and there are more restaurants. But what I found odd were the restaurants that were listed that now take 2TS credits: Jiko, Flying Fish Cafe, Cali Grill, Hoop-Dee-Doo, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, Citricos, Narcoossee's, Spirit of Aloha, Artist Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Hollywood Brown Derby, & Coral Reef. That can't be right, can it??? :confused3 That's a lot more than last year.

Where did you see the list? I still see Coral Reef showing up as "Special and Unique Dining", not the "Signature Dining" that would be 2 credits.

(and yes, the non-Disney owned restaurants like some DTD ones show up later as they renew their contracts.)

I got it off of the WDW website under the Disney Dining Plan Locations just this weekend. It lists all the participating restaurants like a chart and tells what they are considered - CS, TS, Snack, Character Dining, Signature, Dinner Show, and 2TS.

Thanks! Just found it

Crazy - I'm surprised to see Coral Reef as a 2 credit (especially before Le Cellier!). Thanks for letting us know!

Okay, friends! Leave it up to me. Hehe! I'm calling Disney Dining right now.

If CRT is 1 credit now, I've got another ADR to make.;)

The CM says CRT is still 2 TS and Coral Reef is still 1.

I'm super confused now! Come on, Disney... get it together!:rolleyes1

Funny this should come up...Early last month when I was making my ADR's I saw Coral Reef listed as 2 credits. I called and asked my AAA agent, she said no, it's 1. When I called disney to make my reservations the CM told me it was 1 and didn't know why or where it was listed as 2...hmmmmmmmmm

If it's 2, I'm changing it. I like CR, but not that much...LOL

Also have another question regarding the fireworks. Someone here mentioned that in January they are at 7, but I just looked at the calendar posted in the link above....and it says 9??? Does anyone know for sure?

thanks
robin
