Congrats on the airline tickets!! :yay:

I am still waiting on SW to release their rates next month. We would much rather fly with AT but the earliest non-stop flight down they have is 12:30pm. I want to be in WDW by then!!!

WOW, eyes bugging... I just read 51 pages!
Whoa!

Thanks for letting me join...So excited about our trip. I just read the post of the guy who's family stayed in the castle. How lucky! I doubt our family would be picked cause my DC are so little, 1 and 3.
Does the Dream Team pick at each park? What do "they" look like? When just there in June we got Magic Fast Passes on our first time getting tics this trip for Philharmagic. We were getting Pooh fast passes and got bonus Philharmagic one's too. Cool...what a neat way to start the day.

What sites are you all buying the shirts so cheap? Just the disney site? I feel so out of the loop on deals ands such. The last time DH and I were at WDW for a long trip was 04. Before Kids!! This time we are "hoping" to add #3 to our family and bring home a souvenior!! ;) SHhhhh...!!

Oh, one last thing before I head off to start making dinner for my kiddos...Is Yak and Yeti that good? I'm wondering if I should try to make ADR's for the day we are there for dinner or if we should just get the a la carte stuff from the other 1/2? It wasn't opened in 04, they were just building the ride when we were there in Jan.

Thanks everyone....

Thanks for posting the poll Shelly! I'm with you on waiting for SW, AirTran is currently $109 one way, which isn't bad, just waiting to see. I hope I don't have regrets. :scared:

AT is at $109 for us too. I would probably purchase it if they had a morning non-stop flight, just because we prefer them and to know that we have it!!

I hope we don't regret waiting too! :confused3

I can't believe you read through all of our endless chatter! :rotfl: Hope it was helpful in some way!!

The shirts are on sale at Disney Shopping online!

Sorry, never saw the Dream Team yet, and never been to the Yak and Yeti. I'm not much help today, am I???

Good luck on bringing home that souvenir!! :wizard:

You're a champ for reading all those pages. Luckily when I joined the thread there were only half as many at most! :cheer2:

Welcome and good luck with your "souvenir!"

Just check out disneyshopping.com. They have quite a few shirts at just $4.99 right now. Last month I ordered 16 shirts (I was getting them for all of our family coming on this trip) for $69.70. Most were $4.99 each plus they sent me a 20% off code in my email, so it was super cheap. If you create an account, they'll send you emails frequently with discount codes for a percentage off or free/discounted shipping.

Thanks to whoever gave the tip off for the Disney store sale! I bought 8 pair of jammie pals for my 4 kids, and 4 matching Mickey t-shirts. I used the shipfor5 code and the WALLE code for 10% off the entire order! I got all those things for $70 including shipping!:cool1:

My kids are in need of new summer jammies, so I bought them one pair for this summer and one pair for next summer. About 5 years ago we bought these jammie pal jammies, and my youngest still wears her older sister's pair! I love clothes that last!

I'm planning to make a few matching t-shirts with our family name, etc. I even got Scot to agree to wear one! And my Mom! :lmao: But those Mickey shirts were too cute to pass up, and for that price, I can't make one! They didn't have the same design in anything bigger than an adult small or I'd have bought them for the grown-ups too. None of us are smalls. :rolleyes1

I'm really enjoying reading about all of your trip planning and discussions! Thanks for including me with the snowbirds!

Alright all of you, my new Snowbird peeps...

So currently we are booked for two rooms at Pop Jan 17-31. This is due to the fact that my DH wants to stay there for the frozen cokes. Seriously. :confused3 We are spending thousands of dollars for... frozen cokes. I wonder if he has ever heard of 7-11.

So, tonight my friend that will be travelling with her family at the same time (the other 1/2 of the Grand Gathering) came over to discuss some Disney. We do that a LOT. Anyway, I showed her the email that I got from Disney Visa about the $99 rooms at CBR (for Aug/Sept). That is nearly what she will be paying for Pop. I used Fuzzy Disney Math on her (gotta love FDM) and explained that since she will be going to her brother's house in Tampa for the first two days, that saved her $200. Since she has *saved* the money, she can now spend it elsewhere. She likes the idea of a hammock. And a hot tub. And surrey bikes. And paddle boats.

I think I am winning. I *may* get to upgrade. Ahhhh. Give me your honest opinions. (Like you wouldn't.) Would you give up 2 rooms at Pop and move to CBR? I know we will have to give up the frozen cokes, but I will be gaining a hammock. Do I continue my quest to upgrade, or give in to the pull of the frozen coke?

Thanks all!

OMG, yes, upgrade!

"Sorry, honey, I could have SWORN I read somewhere that they put a frozen coke machine here at CBR.......":rolleyes1:

Oh absolutely!! :thumbsup2 Love CBR, for us nothing else compares! The tropical feel, a new pool, the hammocks, the white sand beaches, the Caribbean music playing quietly everywhere, the beautiful bridge and island, the huge food court, all the storage space under the double bathroom sink, the fact that they have the largest rooms of the mods, just everything!! It's like a vacation within a vacation!! :beach: :cloud9:

I can't wait to get there!! :goodvibes :cool1:

Spokanemom - You could always go over to POP for a frozen coke! :goodvibes :rotfl: It's not too far from CBR. You could take a bus to Epcot then get on the POP bus!

Good morning snowbirds! And good luck Shelly on making your ADRs this morning. I also checked out the disney shopping and plan on buying some tee shirts myself. How can you pass that sale up? My dh and I are home without the kids, which is a very rare thing for us. And we plan on....cleaning. Boring huh? Oh well, hope everyone has a great day!!

Just tried to make reservations for Fantasmic dinner package and the girl on the phone said I couldn't until October or November.
